Our Long Term Committment
Funding support
Once a girl is successful in being awarded a WFF Scholarship, we ensure that we meet all School fees and boarding costs. We also supply scholars with laptops, backpacks and supplies where necessary. We also work with the family to take some responsibility in contributing where they can.
Mentoring support
Mentoring our scholars is an additional program hat WFF provides and is critical to the success of our program. Education is important but by providing hand selected mentors to each girl, we ensure that someone is not only walking with them in their journey, but providing them with real life support.
Leadership Training
One of the criteria of the selection process is leadership qualities. WFF ensures that this continues to develop over the course of a girl's scholarship by providing leadership training to the girls in the form of camps, group sessions and individual mentoring.
Pastoral Care
WFF ensures that all our scholars receive pastoral care from both our staff and more mature women in the community. Engaging more broadly with professional women results in girls who are supported to learn and lead. The impact reaches far beyond the individual. Families are strengthened. Communities are more resilient.
